This training is an introduction to continuous modeling with FLAC2D and FLAC3D. At the end of the course, participants will master the graphical interface, documentation and the main modeling steps. Concepts are illustrated using a tunnel excavation example, from building the model geometry to results analysis. This introductory course provides the foundation for more advanced use of the software, which can be covered in more specific training modules.
InSite-LiteTM is the free version of Itasca Consulting Ltd’s InSite Seismic Processing software suite. Some real-life example demo projects, from ICL's consulting projects, are also provided for reference and can be used with this software. The demo projects can be downloaded from the relevant links located on this webpage. InSite-Lite although provided with limited functionality and features compared to the full InSite software suite, provides the user with the capability to import, process and visualise their data. The table at the bottom of this page provides a summary of the modules and functionality included with the different InSite products. Please contact us at [email protected] with any queries you have regarding our range of InSite products or any training requirements you may have in the use of the InSite software products or general training in seismic processing and applied seismology.
InSite is an integrated seismic data processing, QC, management and visualisation software. It has been developed as a complete software solution for seismological studies, ranging in scale from acoustic emissions in the laboratory, through microseismics around underground excavations and petroleum fields up to regional-scale earthquakes. InSite is designed to work with most standard and commercial seismic data formats, both for raw and processed data.
